Teen/Adults 15+

Students will learn Mixed Martial Arts through techniques from boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, karate, submission grappling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Students will learn how to use leverage and proper technique at their own pace while helping each other to get better. Understanding how to train properly will keep students safe and training for a long time. This class is good for students looking for self-defense, functional strength, and stress relief.

Women Only

The Women Only class concentrates on punching, kicking and self defense techniques taken from many different styles. Women will understand how to use leverage, not strength, to defend themselves. Great for functional strength, self defense, stress relief and overall well-being.

Juniors 9-14

Our Junior Martial Arts class will teach students the fundamentals of Mixed Martial Arts through techniques from self-defense, wrestling, submission grappling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, and karate. Students will also work through a unique variety of fun movement, jumping, and coordination drills designed to make them better athletes for mixed martial arts, other sports or to improve general physical health and confidence.

Kids 5-8

The Kids Martial Arts classes will give students the basic techniques of self-defense, karate, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Students will also have fun and be challenged by different balance and coordination drills designed to improve their overall health and physical confidence. Great for building confidence, self defense and overall athleticism for all sports.

Little Dragons 3-4

For the smallest of our students, we like to place them in the very safest of environments so that they can begin to gain the confidence in basic techniques of karate, wrestling, boxing and self defense

If you are looking for a one-time visit or to set up a weekly or monthly class, Mo’s Martial Arts will teach the basics of self defense with a concentration on simple but effective techniques.

Cardio Kickboxing

Our Cardio Kickboxing program will help you build lean muscle, and develop outstanding conditioning through challenging drills and exercises. Increase your flexibility and strength while quickly and easily dropping those unwanted pounds. In this class students will get the same great workout of a cardio kickboxing class but will learn from the beginning how to punch and kick properly. Students will also continue to be coached every class on punching and kicking correctly.

Fundamentals of Submission Grappling

Combining wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, the fundamentals of submission grappling class (also known as no gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu) will build a foundation of basic moves and drills to prepare the student to move on to more advanced live grappling. Great for self defense, wrestlers and football players.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) showed the martial arts world that if you can’t defend yourself on the ground, you probably can’t defend yourself. BJJ is a ground-based system that is great for self defense, mixed martial arts, or as a place for beginners to start to learn martial arts. The different fundamental movements will help you to get stronger and healthier while learning a true martial art. The instruction at our academy will emphasize learning through concepts and problem solving.

BJJ has the added benefit of being one of the best workouts, giving you greater stamina, fundamental strength, coordination, and the ability to move better. If you only have the time for one martial art, BJJ is a great place to start.

Children will learn all the basics of each different position on the ground to be able to defend themselves in any situation. Through instruction and trial and error, kids will slowly gain the confidence to solve any self-defense problem by themselves. They will go through the many different fundamental movements of BJJ that will make them stronger, better athletes and healthier.
